Hi there, the scoring system for the wheel is not very automatic. Those boxes at the top are basically text fields that you can manually type in what you add up. However, once you type something in, it should update across all the slides. Also, keep in mind, the scoreboards will only change / be editable when you're in the launched slideshow mode, and will only work on a PC (not an iPad, Mac, phone, etc).
You might also try my website called TriviaMaker.com which lets you make games like this without having to use powerpoint, and the score boards work a lot easier. It's also a lot easier to customize everything and put in your own content. Check it out and let me know if you need anything else.
The points do not accrue at all. We have figured out how to play the game but no points accrue we use POWERPOINT on macbook version 16.56
